125th Anniversary Kick-Off
On Saturday, Feb.18, Pennsauken turns 125 years old. And to celebrate this amazing milestone, the Township is holding a special event at the Pennsauken Free Public Library to kick off a year's worth of celebrations.
During the event, Pennsauken native and Food Network star Al DiBartolo of DiBartolo Bakery will be on hand to cut the first few pieces of the “birthday cake” specifically designed for the occasion; pieces of cake will be handed out free to residents until it runs out. Pennsauken Mayor Betsy McBride will issue a proclamation for the occasion; and members of Pennsauken High School's choir will lead attendees in singing "Happy Birthday" to the Township.
