Pennsauken Fire Department To Hold Large Scale, Multiple Agency Exercise on 10/30
Published by Township_Web_Admin on Fri, 10/28/2016 - 14:22The Pennsauken Fire Department will be conducting a large scale multiple agency exercise on Sunday October 30, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the area of Derousse Avenue and River Road.
Access to Derousse Avenue and River Road between Sherman Avenue and Derousse Avenue will be limited due to the fire department operation and apparatus in the area during this time period. Residents of Morgan Avenue, Curtis Avenue, Velde Avenue and Engard Avenue between Zimmerman Avenue and Adams Avenue will not be restricted.
As access to the Pennsauken Transit Center will be restricted, the New Jersey Transit Light Rail and New Jersey Transit Atlantic City Line stops at the Pennsauken Transit Center will cease during this time period; and the New Jersey Transit 419 bus route will not stop at the Pennsauken Transit Center. Please visit www.njtransit.com for additional information regarding transportation services.
At the conclusion of the exercise, all services will resume a normal schedule.
Pennsauken residents will not experience any adverse affects to services or utilities during this time period. The Pennsauken Fire Department appreciates the patience and support of our residents and business owners as we conduct this essential training to enhance our readiness.
