Pennsauken Holds Food Truck Events In August, September
Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Wed, 07/20/2016 - 10:24Pennsauken’s Bite Night is the Township’s first-ever food truck event. Scheduled for both Thursday, Aug. 18 and Thursday, Sept. 15, the event, which runs from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Pennsauken Township Municipal Complex, 5605 N. Crescent Blvd., will feature a variety of mobile food purveyors.
“We’re extremely excited to start what we think will be a great new Pennsauken tradition,” says Pennsauken Mayor John Kneib. “Food truck festivals are growing in popularity; and our municipal complex is the perfect place for the Pennsauken community to come together and enjoy a wide variety of tasty options for a quick snack or an alternative to cooking dinner.”
Several food trucks are slated to attend Bite Night. Price ranges for food offerings will vary; and generally, food trucks are cash only for purchases.
Food Truck Line Up For Thursday, September 15
- Beast of the Street
- Bro-Ritos
- Cheezen’ (Tentative)
- Cooper River Lunch and Munch

There will be tables and chairs available for individuals to sit and eat during the event.
Players of Pokémon Go have an additional reason to attend Bite Night. Lures will be dropped at one of the Municipal Complex’s “Pokestops” to lure rare Pokémon to the area during the entirety of both events.
“We invite our residents, as well as members from our neighboring communities, to join us for Bite Night,” adds Kneib. “You won’t want to miss it.”
Food trucks interested in participating in both Bite Nights can still contact Adrian Casey at (856) 665-1000 x161 to register.
