PSE&G Making Repairs Near Airport Circle
Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Thu, 06/09/2016 - 15:02PSE&G has been in the process of making repairs to its natural gas facilities near the Airport Circle in Pennsauken, where Routes 70 and 38 split. All of the work will be in the eastbound lanes. The repairs are being done as a result of required surveys in that area.
Please note that the areas inside homes and businesses, as well as around nearby properties, have been deemed safe; and PSE&G personnel will continue to monitor the area to ensure the safety of all the residents of Pennsauken.
The repairs are scheduled to begin on Friday, June 10 at 10:00 p.m., and are expected to take two weeks to complete. The project will be worked around the clock, seven days a week, until completed. PSE&G is asking for the community's patience and cooperation will the project is completed.
PSE&G has spoken with both municipal and state officials, and will have Pennsauken Police on site throughout the project to direct traffic. PSE&G will make every effort to minimize the work area. Although the roadway will remain open, it will be necessary to close lanes during construction.
For questions or concerns, please contact James Venito, Jr., senior distribution supervisor for PSE&G, at (856) 573-2015 during normal business hours.
