Parks and Recreation

Parks and Recreation department works in concert with Public Works, Administration and the Board of Education to ensure that the parks and playgrounds are maintained, kept clean and available to use for the public.

The director is the township liaison to the Pennsauken Youth Athletic Association as well as being responsible for coordination of activities with the High School Athletic program. In addition the director has oversight for events such as the Christmas parade, the Fourth of July fireworks, car show, the Easter Egg hunt and summer programs. The director is constantly looking for new ideas on how to improve the quality of life for our residents and children in particular pertaining to indoor and outdoor recreation.
