Trash and Recycling

Beginning January 1, 2010 trash and recyclables will be picked up once a week. Your trash collection day will be the day on which your recyclables were collected prior to January 1st. You may place six bags or cans of trash not exceed 50 pounds each. Cans should not to exceed 32 gallons in capacity. In addition to the six items you may place one bulk item (couch, chair, dresser, etc…) per trash day. Plywood, wood fencing, and like items must be cut into two-foot by four-foot width and length. Nails must be flattened. This will count as one bulk item. Household lumber i.e. old 2 x 4’s or 2 x 3’s must be cut into four foot lengths and tied in bundles weighing less then 50 pounds. One car tire off of the rim may be place out per trash day. Latex paint will be taken only if the lids are removed and the paint is dried out or solid.
