Bureau of Fire Prevention

The Bureau of Fire Prevention is responsible for conducting fire safety inspections in certain businesses and residences in the Township of Pennsauken. In addition, the Bureau also offers fire extinguisher training to businesses and community groups and provides fire safety education through school visits and open houses. The Bureau is staffed by a Fire Official and several Fire Inspectors.

One of the duties of the Bureau of Fire Prevention is to conduct smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector inspections in residences and buildings that are being sold. For information on these services please click here.
