Mayor's Office

Pennsauken Township is a Township Committee form of government. There are five members of the governing body who are elected by the residents of Pennsauken to staggered three-year terms. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor are chosen from and by the members of the Township Committee to serve a one-year term.

Ex: Committeeman Jack Killion served as Mayor in 2011.
John Kneib is serving as Mayor and Rick Taylor is serving as Deputy Mayor for 2012.

The (Mayor and the Township Committee) governing body are not full-time positions. The Mayor's Aide acts as the liaison between the elected officials and the people of Pennsauken and handles scheduling for the members of the Township Committee.
