Overview
The Pennsauken Shade Tree Commission is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our community through the preservation and promotion of our urban forest. Committed to environmental stewardship, the Commission oversees the planting, maintenance, and protection of trees throughout Pennsauken Township. By collaborating with residents, businesses, and local organizations, they ensure that our streets, parks, and public spaces are adorned with healthy, thriving trees that provide shade, improve air quality, and contribute to the aesthetic beauty of our neighborhoods. Through education and outreach efforts, the Shade Tree Commission encourages sustainable practices and fosters a deeper appreciation for the vital role trees play in our ecosystem and daily lives.
