Applications Now Accepted For Lend A Hand Program
Published by Township_Web_Admin on Mon, 02/13/2023 - 13:41Pennsauken is accepting applications for the Community Development Block Grant federally funded Lend A Hand Grant program.
The purpose of Lend A Hand is to provide financial assistance to income eligible homeowners in Pennsauken Township. The assistance is designed to upgrade the existing housing stock by correcting serious housing code violations that are found to be dangerous or injurious to the occupant(s).
You may qualify if you meet one or more of the following:
- Financial limitations per HUD guidelines, single family/owner occupied units only
- If you have a physical inability to finance or perform necessary work (e.g. confined to a bed or wheelchair)
- Temporary inability to finance or perform work (e.g. medical disability, unemployment)
There is no age limitations of recipient. Please contact the Pennsauken program coordinator via email at emartz@pennsauken.gov or call (856) 665-1000 x104 for more information. If accepted into the program, your application will be placed on the waiting list.
