Youth Action Committee
A Youth Action Committee is hereby created in the Township of Pennsauken, and such Committee shall be composed of that number of members which the Township Committee shall deem necessary from time to time so as to provide for a proper and efficient functioning of such Committee.
B. The Committee may adopt rules and regulations not inconsistent with the laws of this state and existing Township ordinances for the conduct of its meetings and business.
Members of the Youth Action Committee shall be appointed by the Township Committee for a term of one year, such term to commence on January 1 of the year of such appointment.
Qualification for a membership on the Youth Action Committee shall be limited to the residents of the Township who shall be at least 13 years of age. The Township Committee shall encourage youth participation on the Youth Action Committee.
Members of the Youth Action Committee shall serve without compensation.
The Youth Action Committee shall have the authority to plan and conduct programs, events, recreational activities and cultural activities for the youth of the Township of Pennsauken.
