9/11 Flag Placement
Each year, almost 3,000 American flags are placed throughout Pennsauken’s 9/11 Memorial, located at the corner of Merchantville Ave. and Rt. 130, across the street from the Township’s Municipal Building and the Pennsauken Free Public Library.
Volunteers are needed to help distribute the flags on Friday, Sept. 10 at 11:45 p.m. and remove them on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 11:45 p.m. Those wishing to participate on either day are asked to arrive by 11:40 p.m.
