The following are changes to municipal services for the Independence Day weekend.

Closures

The Pennsauken Township Municipal Building will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day. The office will reopen on Monday, July 6.

While the cleanup continues in Camden County the Freeholder Board has asked the Office of Emergency Management and the Health Department to open up cooling centers for residents in need. With possible long term outages of more than 24 hours, cooling centers will provide water, air conditioning and a place to charge cell phones and medical devices.

The Pennsauken Township Committee meeting regularly scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2015 has been cancelled. The next meeting of the Township Committee will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.

As we have been asked by the Camden County Board of Elections to move our Township’s polling locations out of our schools, it is possible that your polling location will change from the June primary election onward.
