Camden County Holds Senior Citizen Legal Workshops
The Camden County Board of Freeholders, the Department of Health and Human Services – Division of Senior and Disabled Services and the Surrogate’s Office announce free legal workshops for senior and disabled residents of Camden County. Those attending these workshops receive, at no cost, a last will and testament, an advance directive for health care (living will) and power of attorney (POA). For more information, click here.
Pennsauken's Senior Services Coordinator
Sonny DiSabato is the senior coordinator for Pennsauken Township as well as the vice president of Senior Coordinators in Camden County.
Sonny is the liaison between the township and various senior groups in Pennsauken.
As the coordinator Sonny attends 8 meetings a month during which he distributes information from the town, the county and the state as needed. Sonny also attends a monthly county senior services meeting.
Sonny can be contacted in the municipal building on Tuesdays & Thursdays from
8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Sonny will visit senior homes to advise and or give information to people who are physically unable to come to the municipal building.
The Senior Coordinator along with the Parks & Recreation Director hosts an annual pool party for seniors.
Pennsauken Senior Services
Pennsauken Township offers a Senior Bus to those seniors who have no other means of transportation in order for them to go grocery shopping. Click here to view the Senior Bus Schedule.
To enroll in Pennsauken's Senior Bus program, call Public Works at 856-663-0178 and provide your name, full address and phone number.
