Bid Packet #23-21: Storm Sewer Repair Program
Published by Township_Web_Admin on Tue, 10/10/2023 - 12:46Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2023-24 Storm Sewer Repair Program, Bid Packet No. 23-21 will be received by the Pennsauken Township Clerk on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, at the Pennsauken Township Municipal Building, 5605 North Crescent Blvd., Pennsauken, New Jersey 08110 at which time they will be opened and read in public.
Prospective bidders are advised that this is a unit price bid for both routine and emergency maintenance work to the storm sewer system, on an as-needed basis, throughout the entire Township. Unit prices are to be provided for every bid item. Quantities contained in the Bid Proposal are for the purpose of obtaining unit prices and evaluation of bids only. Actual quantities will vary from those contained in the Proposal.
Specifications and bid forms are on file in the office of the Township Clerk at the Municipal Building and may be obtained during regular business hours from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for a non-refundable fee of $20.00 ($30.00 if mailed). Electronic submission of Bids will not be accepted.
Bids must be made on the proposal form and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, the Name and Bid Packet No. (23-21) of the project and addressed to Ms. Pamela Scott-Forman, Township Clerk. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier’s Check payable to the Township of Pennsauken for ten (10%) percent (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid amount.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), P.L. 1963 C150 (New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act), and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42U.S.C. 12101, et seq.).
Bidders are required to comply with P.L. 1977, c. 33 Disclosure of Ownership and P.L. 1999, c.238, Public Works Contractor Registration Act including all subcontractors and P.L. 2004, c.57 and submit proof of business registration including all subcontractors.
