Pennsauken Township’s Municipal Government is taking several proactive steps – out of an abundance of caution – after an increasing number of employees have tested positive for COVID-19 or are quarantined due to potential exposure to the coronavirus.

Contact tracing has been completed; and all those who were potentially exposed are currently medically monitoring. The affected staff members did not have any interaction with the general public. The Municipal Building and the Pennsauken Free Public Library have been thoroughly sanitized.

As of noon today, Monday, November 23, 2020, the Pennsauken Township Municipal Building will be accessible by appointment only. The Pennsauken Free Public Library is currently closed; please do not attempt to return any items to the Library during the closure. This status remains in effect until further notice.

The lobby of Pennsauken’s Municipal Court is open during regular business hours. There are currently no in-person court dates.

The Pennsauken Sewerage Authority Office is currently closed and will reopen at a date yet to be determined. Payment can still be sent in via drop box, mail, or online banking. For more information, visit psewer.com.

The Pennsauken Country Club/Marco’s Restaurant remains open with reduced staff and is adhering to the restrictions for indoor gatherings as mandated by Governor Murphy’s Executive Order.
