On Sunday, May 26, at noon, Pennsauken Township will hold a special ceremony with VFW Post 1270, AMVETs Post 101, and American Legion F.W. Grigg Post 68 at Liberty Park, located on the corner of Merchantville and Westfield avenues. The public is invited to attend.

OTHER MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONIES

VFW Post 1270, located at 2324 Penn St. in Pennsauken, right off of Rt. 130 and Cove Rd., will hold its annual wreath laying ceremony on Sunday, May 26, at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony features the laying of wreaths at the Post, an honor guard rifle salute, and the playing of “Taps.”

AMVETS Post 101, located at 519 June Rd. in Delair, will hold its wreath laying ceremony on Monday, May 27, at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony begins at the post and then moves to the World War II/Korean War memorial, located on River Rd.
