Merchantville-Pennsauken Water Commission Disputes Patch Article

An article was posted earlier today through the "Patch" online news network regarding New Jersey towns and water toxins. The Merchantville - Pennsauken Water Commission disputes the article as extremely misleading and has issued a response.

"Water supplied by the MPWC meets all State and Federal standards for drinking water. Recent reports of chromium-6 in drinking water as reported by Environmental Working Group are misleading.

All drinking water samples taken by the MPWC are far below the United States Environmental Protection Administration’s limit of 100 parts per billion and the most stringent state limit of 10 parts per billion mandated in the state of California."
