Parade Of Lights - CANCELLED
Because of the inclement weather forecast for later today, Pennsauken's 2019 Parade of Lights has been cancelled. Unfortunately, prior commitments of other fire departments and community groups for upcoming holiday events prevent the parade from being rescheduled.
The Township’s third annual Parade of Lights will be held on Friday, Dec. 13 at 7:00 p.m. Fire trucks, emergency service vehicles, and more will be decorated with bright lights and festive decorations as they ride along Township streets, beginning at the School District’s Park Avenue Campus, then making a right on Union Ave. and ending up on Wyndam Rd. In addition, Santa Claus is sure to make an appearance, riding a fire engine at the end of the parade, which should take roughly an hour from start to finish.
Attendees are invited back to the Park Avenue Campus after the parade’s conclusion to hear the announcement of this year’s winners. Light refreshments will be provided while supplies last. The town’s Parade of Lights will be shared via Facebook Live on the “Pennsauken Television” Facebook page.
