Pennsauken Fireworks Display On June 12
Published by Township_Web_Admin on Tue, 06/08/2021 - 12:11In celebration of Juneteenth, the start of summer, and Independence Day, Pennsauken Township and its Parks and Recreation Department are holding a fireworks display with music on Saturday, June 12, at the town’s Community Recreation Complex on Westfield Ave.
On June 12, cars will be allowed into the complex at 7:00 p.m. The Township anticipates that parking spots will be filled quickly. Once at capacity, residents will have to park in and around the area and walk-up to the facility. Attendees can sit in or outside of their vehicles; in truck cabs and on tailgates; or along the grass and in the parking lot. The fireworks display will occur approximately around 9:00 p.m. A DJ will be playing music throughout the event. There will also be several dessert food trucks on site.
While Governor Murphy has removed COVID-19 restrictions, mask wearing and social distancing are an encouraged option for participants who may feel uncomfortable without them.
