Pennsauken Municipal Pool
UPDATED FOR 2023
EXCITING NEWS! We're opening on weekends beginning Saturday, May 27! The pool will open daily starting Saturday, June 17.
The Parks and Recreation Department will begin accepting membership applications and fees for the 2023 pool season beginning on Wednesday, May 10. Appointments are required to sign up for the pool. To schedule an appointment, call (856) 665-1000 x0. Appointments will begin to be scheduled on Monday, May 1.
MUNICIPAL SWIMMING POOL COMPLEX - 6100 River Road
Three pools, pool house, pool snack stand, playground equipment, one horseshoe pit, picnic area, two tennis courts, one roller hockey rink and parking lot. Membership required for use of the pool - daily guest passes available for members only.
The Municipal Pool, located at 6100 River Rd., is open to Pennsauken and Merchantville residents only and all applicants must provide a photo ID, current utility bill and birth certificate and report card for children.
Memberships
Registering for a pool membership will begin May 10, 2023. The membership application is available at the Township Building, 5605 N. Crescent Blvd., Pennsauken, NJ. Forms must be printed out and completed and submitted to the Township building by appointment only. To schedule a time to obtain your membership, call (856) 665-1000 x0.
New applicants must provide the following: a photo ID, current utility bill, as well as a birth certificate and report card for children.
Payment is due at the time of registration. Returning members and new applicants can pay by either cash or check (made out to Pennsauken Township).
Pricing
- Adult: 18 years of age or older $70.00
- Child: Under 18 years of age, birth certificate required $65.00
- College Student: Not to exceed age 23 years, must provide tuition receipt for September and birth certificate $50.00
- Senior Citizen: Age 62 and older, proper ID required $20.00
- MERCHANTVILLE RESIDENTS (ALL AGES) $75.00
- LOST/DESTROYED REPLACEMENT TICKET (EACH) $5.00
- Stolen Ticket(s) replacement – Police Report Required (each) $5.00
- Guest Passes: Limit of two books per household, 5 per book $45.00 While supplies last
*Guest passes may only be purchased by members of the Municipal Pool. Members can only buy three books per season. Pool members MUST accompany their guests to the pool and be with them at the facility during their stay.
**Please note that residents must be up-to-date on their property tax payments in order to become a member of the Pennsauken Municipal Pool.**
Hours Of Operation
Weekdays: noon to 7:30 p.m. (beginning Monday, June 29 through Labor Day)
Weekends, Holidays: 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
