Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Tue, 11/18/2014 - 21:53While PSE&G does not yet have a complete restoration schedule, they have provided some information for the restoration and paving schedule that should be completed in the next few weeks.
PSE&G currently has three contractors performing curb, sidewalk and driveway restoration. Crew 1 is restoring curbs, sidewalks and driveways associated with the gas line relocations. Crew 2 is restoring curbs, sidewalks and driveways in Pennsauken south of Volan Street to Magnolia to Wysteria to Cuthbert to Rt. 130. Crew 3 is restoring curbs, sidewalks and driveways on Lexington from N. Chestnut to Walnut to Horner to Rogers to Centre to Irving.
PSE&G currently has two contractors performing milling and paving. Crew 1 is restoring the concrete base on Lexington from Magnolia to W. Maple. After the base is completed they will mill and pave Lexington from W. Maple to Magnolia, onto Magnolia to Wysteria to Cuthbert Blvd. to Rt. 38. This is scheduled to be completed the second week of December. Crew 2 will mill and pave Bethel Ave beginning at Madison and continuing to Irving. They will return at a later date to restore the concrete intersections along this route. Crew 2 will then proceed to Walnut Ave. and mill and pave from Lexington Ave. to Merchantville Ave. After that, Crew 2 will proceed to N. Centre Street where at this time they will only mill.
All residents have either been notified or will be notified in advance of this work.
